You'll often find a Vinyasa Flow with Chaturanga as part of a Sun Salutation sequence or between poses to build warmth, upper body and core strength, plus it encourages a steady rhythm of breath with movement. It takes patience and discipline to learn how to practice the pose correctly so build up gently and practice good alignment. When this is done well, the pose is a powerful full-body toner.
